ControlDeck started as a personal panel. Every action in it exists because a job needed it and After Effects either didn't have it or had it badly. Twenty-nine of them survived long enough to be worth shipping.

ControlDeck is built and maintained by Mark Thompson at Skylab 5, a motion design studio working in documentary, film, and broadcast. It's the panel docked in the studio's own sessions — the actions in it earned their place on real deliverables, not on a feature list.
